This month we are introduced to Raw Is Everything.

RAW IS EVERYTHING founder Jessica Assaf has been a beauty activist for the past ten years advocating for safer products and stricter regulations protecting our health. She is on a lifelong mission to educate consumers about the importance of product safety and discover the best safe and effective products. Her story has been featured in “The Young Activist’s Guide to Building a Green Movement and Changing the World,” and the documentary, “The Human Experiment.” Jessica started the clean beauty blog, Beauty Lies Truth, with Alexis Krauss to build a movement of young women passionate about beauty and health. RAW IS EVERYTHING is her contribution to the movement.

RAW IS EVERYTHING is the first line of single-ingredient skincare. Jessica searched the globe to find the highest quality and most powerful ingredients extracted from plants that stand alone. She found oils that have been ancient beauty secrets for centuries but have never been available to the modern consumer in their purest form. RAW IS Everything’s four premier facial oils are cold pressed, unrefined, and sourced sustainably from communities around the world. The products are shielded in custom-coated dark glass to protect the oils against sun and heat damage. It is RAW’s mission to help women and men find the best single-ingredients for their skin.

Facial Moisturizer ~ Full Size 1 fl oz $55

Main ingredient: 100% unrefined, cold pressed, wild-crafted passionfruit seed oil. Native to the Amazon and extracted from the seeds of the passionfruit, this oil has been used for centuries as a powerful moisturizing emollient. It moisturizes, replenishes and balances.

Antioxidant Treatment ~ Full Size 5fl oz $45

Main ingredient: 100% unrefined, cold pressed, sustain-ably farmed raspberry seed oil. Native to Europe, this antioxidant oil has been used as a natural remedy for centuries by the civilizations of Greece, Rome and Anatolia to protect skin against free radicals caused by exposure to sunlight and environmental toxins.

**The card explains that exposure to light and heat will quickly damage the oils so their bottles are uniquely coated to prevent exposure to visible and ultraviolet spectrum of light. It’s also to minimize heat absorption. WOW!

I am already using both products. I’m not a fan of passionfruit, but the way my skin feels is changing my mind. It’s only been 3 days but I’m already fascinated with how smooth my cheeks and neck are. Why have I not heard about this company before!

Is anyone else getting this box? Have you used these products? What are your results so far?

Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a vegan/natural make up and skin care subscription box.  Each month you’ll receive 4-7 full and sample size cruelty-free beauty must-haves, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare.

PRICE: $19.95. Ships to the US for free, Canada for $8, and worldwide for $15.

This month we “Bask In Beauty”.

Pura Botanica ~ Botanic Bath Infusion Pick Me Up bath salts.  ($10) This full size product consists of mineral sea salts paired with herbs and flowers for a relaxing bath experience. Even though it says salts, they come in a large tea bag form. No floating debris. No messy clean up!

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques ~ Natural eyeshadow in “morning dew” ($9) This shadow glides on smooth and blends well. I am leery of the shade though. I love how it lasts so I’ll probably give it another go. I mean it’s pretty, just not a shade I’d normally wear.

Athar’a ~ Moroccan Coffee eye cream. Deluxe size sample that helps hydrate, increases elasticity and reduces dark circles. I love the smell!

Pacifica ~ Devoclean Natural Lipstick in “XOX” ($14) This full size lipstick will nourish you lips naturally. Beautiful shade, just not for me.

Even though I didn’t personally care for the shades in this box, I love the products and now that I know how they feel I will be purchasing other shades from these companies.

I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. MizD

postheadericon Vegan Cuts Beauty Box ~ April 2015

VeganCutsApril

It’s been a while since I shared my Vegan Cuts Beauty Box.  I’ve lost, but I’m slowing getting back my blogging MoJo. 🙂

Price: $19.95 Ships to: US for free, Canada for $8, and Worldwide for $15

Each box contains a mix of 4-7 full and sample size cruelty-free beauty must-haves, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. All items are void of nasty, toxic ingredients and animal by-products.

Here is April’s box.

Emani Lip Shine ~  Full Size ($16)  Social Climber  is actually a shade i was afraid of at first, but I tried it anyway. I really like it. The gloss is really hydrating and not sticky either. It’s made from organic fruit extracts and oils. I also like that it is free of parabens, phthalates, gluten, etc.

Petal Fresh ~  3oz ($2) This is an organic tea tree oil scalp treatment conditioner.   I think my scalp is crying for this. I got the shampoo last month and love it. I’m glad they decided to send out conditioner too!

Goddess Garden ~ 1oz ($4.40) Organic sunny body natural sunscreen SPF 30

Captain Blankenship   1oz ($6) Mermaid mane sea salt hair spray. I got this brand in another sub box last year. I didn’t like it. I don’t like to use texturizing products in my hair. It’s super thick and these sprays just make it feel dirty and weighed down.

Wellinhand Action Remedies ~ Bug-A-Boo Vanilla Rosemary insect repellant. I really hope the vanilla overpowers the rosemary. I haven’t sniffed it yet because it’s a rather small ville and I want to spill it.

Aside from the spray, I’m happy with everything in this box. I can’t wait to try the shampoo and conditioner together.

I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. There are affiliate links in this post. MizD

postheadericon Vegan Cuts Beauty Box ~ December 2014

10890629_319589571585634_113785135_nFinally sharing my Vegan Cuts Beauty Box for December. I love the holidays, but I love it even more when they are over. I just get so overwhelmed with everything.

Delizioso Skincare ~ Cream Blush ($18) Full Size. I totally spaced taking it out of the cute little carton, perhaps because I was more impressed with it than the blush. A real rosy pink that looks horrid on me.

21 Drops ~ Focus Sample .6 ml ($2) 100% natural, essential oil.

BellaPierre Cosmetics ~ 3-Free Nail Polish in Copper Brown ($15) Full Size. I really like this shade and I didn’t realize BP did products other then the shadows and blushes I always seem to get.

Landeva Organics ~ Hair and Body Oil  5 ml ($1.25) Not on my card, so perhaps a bonus? OH and the nail file was a bonus as well.

North Coast Organics ~ All-Natural Spray Lotion  .135 oz  ($1?) Organic spray lotion, but the consistency is more of an oil.  There wasn’t a scent listed, but I smell my favorite: Lavender! 🙂

I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. ~D

The All Natural Face ~ Diva stick (eyeshadow) in black khol. Full size ($5)

Mullein & Sparrow ~ All natural tinted lip and cheek balm. Full size ($10) This is a really nice balm. I don’t know if I’ll use it on my cheeks, but it does feel good on my lips.

I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. ~D

postheadericon Eco Emi ~ November 2014

This may sound strange, but I honestly don’t remember subscribing to this version of Eco-Emi. I knowingly purchased the beauty box, but don’t remember this one. So, yeah, it was a total surprise getting it in the mail. : -)

Price: $15 includes shipping.

Cisse Trading Co. ~ Milk chocolate hot cocoa. Just in time for the cold weather we’re having. UGH

Medusa’s Makeup ~ lipstick in “Triple X” This is the second lipstick I’ve received. I am so sad because I really want to try it. I’ve read the formula is amazing and it’s vegan! The shade is just not me. I would rather gift or trade it, then waste it.

Skout ~ organic trailbar. Sweet potato and apple. I gobbled this up and tossed the wrapper before I knew what it was. hehe

Naked Edge Snacks ~ Veggie-Go’s sweet potato apple leather. Another winner!

Muchie’s Skin ~ Shea body butter. Smells lemony.  I don’t like it.

Coastal Scents ~ African black soap. I got this last year in another box. I REALLY love it. It made my face feel super clean, but didn’t try it out.

Skin & Co. Roma ~ Sicilian light serum. WOW $47 for 1 oz. I can’t wait to try it to see what it does!  Wrinkles be gone!

Veda Company ~ Tea light candles. Very floral smelling. Quite nice actually. Another high price item. 15/$30

I’m so glad I came back to Eco-Emi. My only whine is the samples aren’t bigger. I can see why though. They are high quality.

I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. ~D

postheadericon Eco Emi Deluxe Beauty Box ~ November 2014

This is another box I let go of for a while. I decided to join again when I found out they had a DELUXE size beauty box. YAY!

Eco-Emi Beauty Box ~ 4-5 Deluxe and Full size items. 100% cruelty free.

Price: $22 includes shipping.

Haughty Cosmetics ~ Blush in “Polished” ($28) This has a sponge tip applicator. I’ve actually never tried a cream blush. I think I can pull of this shade though. I’m excited to try it. OH and the tube is HUGE. It will last forever!

Trinite Organiques ~ Aloe Shea Souffle Body Butter ($22) There is no real scent to this butter. I guess that’s  good thing. It will make it easier to layer. It absorbs nicely too.

Medusas Makeup ~ ($12) CRAZY purple shade!! Purple is my favorite color, but there is no way I’m even going to attempt this.

Deep Steep ~ Brown Sugar-Vanilla body wash. ($9.95) I love Deep Steep products. I own many of them. I was beyond excited to get this.

I appreciate when box values are above what I paid for. Yes, there are times when it doesn’t. This box is amazing! I can’t wait to see what December brings.!

I paid for this box and all opinions are mine. ~D

postheadericon Untoxicating Beauty ~ June 2014

Untoxicating Beauty is a eco-friendly beauty subscription box. Unlike other subs that send a variety of brands, Untoxicating Beauty sends out several products from only one eco-friendly brand each month. It’s a  great way to discover new brands! The only drawback is if you don’t like that brand. There is always trading! 🙂

PRICE: The Cost: $35 (Pay via PayPal)

Here is the inside of the box when I opened it. I was kind of alarmed because the box seemed wet. I was worried something leaked all over everything. That wasn’t the case. Just a tiny spill and wiped up. Nothing harmed or ruined. 🙂

Each box comes with a letter detailing the brand featured in the box and why it is “untoxicating.” This month they are featuring The Grapeseed Company.

The top card talks about the company. Mission statement, and such.

Lemon Cake Grapeseed Body Lotion ($19)

Lemon Cake Sugar Body Scrub ($18)

(Ok this is where if you don’t like something… I do not like anything lemon scented) My mom is on cloud 9 though. She loved lemon ANYTHING. She could smell the cake straight away. 😛

100% Pure Grapeseed Oil ($9)

Cali Sun Stick SPF 30 ($13) LOVE LOVE LOVE this. It’s unscented, but it has cocoa butter and coconut.

Travel size sample of the company’s Harvest Crush Syrah Wine Bar organic soap.  smells FABULOUS!

The value of this box is $65. IMPRESSIVE. I’m going to keep subscribing. Just because I didn’t like everything doesn’t mean my family can’t enjoy my treats. (I should have saved the lemon stuff for Christmas! D’oh)

I paid for this box and all opinions are mine. ~D
